CFDC private-sector youth internships

Does your organization want to tackle a new project related to one of the seven Economic Strategy Tables established by the Government of Canada? You may be eligible to hire a youth intern to assist you with this.

A new model for industry-government collaboration, the Economic Strategy Tables are part of the Government of Canada's Innovation and Skills Plan to create well-paying jobs and and strengthen the middle class by focusing investments in high-growth sectors where Canada has a globally competitive advantage.

The FedNor Youth Internship initiative helps post-secondary graduates get crucial work experience while also supporting Northern Ontario businesses with skilled and qualified youth workers. The program is delivered by Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) in Northern Ontario. Contact your local CFDC to find out how your company can benefit from this initiative.

Businesses located in Sudbury can contact the Nord-Aski Regional Economic Development Corporation at (705) 362-7355.
